From Vic Falls to Great Zimbabwe -camping trip
Dates for 2012 are as follows:
16th to 28th August and 11th to 23rd October
On this guided camping trip you travel in a small group to visit three of Zimbabwe's four UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Victoria Falls, Matopos and Great Zimbabwe. You spend three days in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest and best-known national park. Another highlight of the trip is a day in the impressive Chobe National Park in Botswana. You travel in a specially built truck with large windows for good all round vision and photography. There are coach seats for your comfort. The truck can take a maximum of 12 passengers plus a translator/guide. The equipment travels in a custom-built trailer. Accommodation is in easy to set up dome tents on camping sites. Setting up camp and cooking meals is done jointly and soon turns a group of tourists into a strong team of travellers.
