New to our portfolio are safaris that are oriented around cycling. If you like to spend your holidays being active, then why don't you have a look at our cycle tours? We can offer you both road bike tours and mountain bike safaris. You also have the choice of tours in which you travel almost exclusively with your bike, or others in which the bike plays a slightly less important role in the course of your trip. We had an absolute blast on our 10-day mountain bike tour of South Africa's Limpopo Province in September 2011!
We visited the World Heritage Site Mapungubwe, the world famous Kruger National Park and the spectacular scenery of the Panorama Route. With a few changes that will make the tour even more exciting, we are offering it again in 2012.
For 2012 we have combined the north of South Africa with the Tuli Block in Botswana for a safari with mountain bikes. You can download the detailed itinerary here: 11 Day Mountain Bike Safari 2012. On this trip, with accommodation in excellent lodges and fully serviced tented camps in the wilderness, you will visit the Panorama Route, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Kruger National Park, Mapungubwe World Heritage Site, the craggy Tuli Block in Botswana with its teeming wildlife and the Soutpansberg.
