The word "daktari" comes from the Swahili language and means "doctor". As former full time "daktari" of veterinary medicine, I have been travelling in Africa regularly since 1988, at first out of sheer love for the continent. In 1996 I decided to share my passion for Africa with clients and began to work as a travel agent. Since then I have been collecting many ideas and real insider-tips for my clients in the course of my travels through South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana.
